PPG Names Goudy VP of Automotive Aftermarket
Pittsburgh-based PPG Industries has named Garry A. Goudy vice president of its automotive aftermarket division. The move puts him in charge of the automotive replacement glass and insurance and services, in addition to the automotive refinish coatings segment, of which he has been vice president since 2001. A native of Meaford, Ontario, Goudy joined PPG Canada in 1970 and held several positions there, including Toronto regional sales manager, glass manager and flat glass sales manager, Ontario. In 1988, Goudy moved to PPG’s Pittsburgh headquarters as general manager of North American glass branch distribution, and in 1997 was named vice president of automotive replacement glass.
Recrosio Moves from GLAXIS to Aquapel®
Paul Recrosio, sales and marketing manager for Pittsburgh-based PPG’s GLAXIS™ business, has been promoted to run the company’s Aquapel glass treatment business. Kristy Camp of PPG’s corporate purchasing group will take over for Recrosio as the new sales and marketing manager at Glaxis.
Safelite Promotes Feeney to Chief Client Officer,Announces Other Promotions
The Columbus, Ohio-based Safelite Group has announced several promotions within its ranks. The promotions, which include the newly created positions of senior vice president of manufacturing and fulfillment and chief client officer, follow the company’s announcement of a new corporate structure and the appointment of
Dan H. Wilson as president and chief executive officer in late 2003.
Steven B. Micheli has been promoted to senior vice president, manufacturing and fulfillment. Micheli joined Safelite in 1993 and most recently served as vice president, manufacturing and distribution operations. His new responsibilities include overseeing the manufacturing, distribution and retail auto glass service operations.
Douglas A. Herron, executive vice president and chief financial officer, has assumed responsibility for information technology, enterprise procurement and commercial sales, in addition to overseeing financial operations for the company. Herron has been with Safelite since 1992 and serves as a member of Safelite’s board of directors.
Thomas M. Feeney has been promoted to executive vice president and chief client officer. In his new role,
Feeney will oversee all aspects of the company’s claims management business, operating under Safelite Solutions LLC, including client partnerships, contact center, billing services operations, network management and local and national insurance sales. He has 16 years experience with Safelite, having held numerous sales leadership positions. Additional Safelite Group promotions include:
Garth R. Beck to vice president, field operations for Safelite AutoGlass;
Dino D. Lanno to vice president, enterprise procurement and commercial sales for Safelite Group;
Ronald H. Duncan to vice president, retail support services for Safelite AutoGlass;
Andrew J. Kipker to vice president, claims management services for Safelite Solutions LLC, Safelite’s claims-processing operation; David P. Stagner to vice president, national accounts and field sales for Safelite Solutions LLC; Mark A. Clay to assistant vice president, manufacturing and distribution center operations for Safelite Glass Corp.; and David L. Erwin to national repair development manager for Safelite AutoGlass.
Sika Adds Loven to Management Group
William F. Loven has been named to the extended group management of the Madison Heights, Mich.-based Sika Corp.’s Sika Group. Loven is senior vice president of Sika’s Industry Division and is responsible for industry operations throughout the United States. In addition to his current responsibilities, Loven will act in an advisory function to the worldwide group management team of the Sika Group.
