in Education, Networking and More
Whether it’s the tricks (of the trade) or the treats you’re after, Glass Expo Midwest™ is returning to Schaumburg (Chicago), Ill., October 31-November 1, bringing everything you need to scare up more news, knowledge, education and networking opportunities. Taking place in Suburban Chicago at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel, the two-day event is co-sponsored by the Illinois Glazing Association, the Indiana, Ohio, Minnesota and Wisconsin Glass Associations, Detroit Glass Dealers Association, the Association of Glazing Contractors and USGlass magazine, USGNN™ and Window Film magazine.
This year’s seminar schedule is filled with sessions focused on some of the most significant topics for the glazing industry. These include a look at the revised Federal Trade Commission Green Guides, led by Elizabeth Scott, staff attorney for the FTC; construction site protection and maintenance of architectural glass, by retired PPG technology expert Paul Duffer, technical adjunct for the International Window Cleaning Association glass committee; anti-terrorism and blast mitigation aluminum glazing systems led by John Johnson, architectural sales representative for YKK AP America; and many others (see box on page 69).
