The quick answer is yes, an aftermarket film can <a href=\"https:\/\/info.glass.com\/glass-dictionary\/u-factor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">increase &#8220;U&#8221; value<\/a>. The bigger question, however, is \u201chow much\u201d improvement will you get. Your question is very specific and you are looking for an improvement of less than 1%. The right film selection <em>could<\/em> achieve that. I am going to recommend that you contact a reputable window filming company in your area and review what is available that could get you to where you want to go.
