I had a large crack running across the windshiled and a rather big rock chip that had concentric circle cracks around it. I submitted a windshield replacement request through Glass.com late in the evening on a Wednesday and was contacted early the next morning by Glass America. They had the windshield in stock and were going to try to fit me in that day, but did say that if they could not get to me Thursday I would be on the Friday schedule. communication came through both email and text. I received a text Friday morning with notification of an 11 hour window for the technician to arrive at my residence to install the window. The text included a number for the technician, but when I called my call went to voicemail and the voicemail box was full, making it impossible to leave a message. I texted back to the number from which I had been receiving texts from the dispatcher and quickly received a text from the technician that he would be at my residence between 1pm and 3pm. The technician, Ben, texted me when he arrived around 2:20pm. I unlocked the vehicle and Ben told me he would text when he was about 5 minutes from completing the job. He confirmed the quoted price for the windshield replacement and got to work. About 40 minutes later he texted me to let me know he was finishing up. I went outside, paid with my debit card, and the receipt was emailed to me.
